# Test an Assistant

Follow these steps to test your assistant:

1. Log in to the [dashboard](https://app.voicegenie.ai/) and go to the **Assistants** section.
2. Click the **Test Your Bot** button on the assistant’s page.

3. You’ll see two calling options:
   * **Native Dialer**
   * **Web Calling**

4. If you select **Native Dialer**, two more options appear:
   * **Change Number** — to switch the calling number.
   * **Start Call** — to begin the call manually.
5. If you select **Web Calling**, the call will be placed **directly through the system** automatically.

You will receive a call 📲 shortly on the provided number. Engage with the assistant to test its functionality and conversation flow.&#x20;

Then you will be able to engage with your dynamic generative voice assistant and test it !!  :clap::clap:
